 ABOUT
The Westwego Historical Museum is housed in the historic Fisherman's Exchange/
L J Bernard Hardware Store Building on Sala Avenue in Salaville, Westwego's Historic District.  The museum opened its doors in 2000  under the director of Curator Daniel P. Alario, Sr., and has since welcomed thousands and thousands of visitors from around the world!  While telling the unique story of the people of Westwego, the museum features a completely restored turn-of-the-century general store, furnished period upstairs living quarters, and a main exhibit area boasting thousands of artifacts and historical treasures.

Monday - Friday: 9am -4pm








ADMISSIONS




Adults: $3
Children under 12: $2
Seniors over 60: $2
Groups (10 or more): half price (call ahead for group tours)
Westwego Historical Society Members: FREE
